Your thyroid results look OK. When on Levo plus T3 it's the FT3 result that's important, as taking T3 tends to lower TSH and FT4. Your FT3 is 63% through range. How do you feel?

Your ferritin is low.

Should I supplement iron then?

I feel ok but somedays very tired. Could the ft3 show a lower level than it is since I'm taking the highest dose so early? Or can I rely on it?

I can't advise on iron supplements. Iron is complicated and you'd need a full blood count and iron panel to know any more. If you had a decent level of serum iron then you wouldn't want it to go over range which taking iron tablets might cause.

You can help raise your level by eating liver regularly, maximum 200g per week due to it's high Vit A content, also liver pate, black pudding, and including lots of iron rich foods in your diet

Your low ferritin could be causing you to be tired. This article gives a list of symptoms of low ferritin:

You split your dose of T3 so your result is probably showing your normal circulating level. You could try SlowDragon's suggestion of timing for your doses.

Ok, thanks. I think he just tested ferritin. He wouldn't even give me the numbers so I had to call the nurse...

Have you had vitamin D, folate and B12 retested recently?

Ferritin is rather low

Have you tried the same split dose at 8 hour gaps?

10mcg waking - eg 7am

5mcg 8 hours later - eg 3pm

5mcg 8 hours later - eg 11pm

No, I haven't. If NB really need my meds when I've take them and I feel that I might need another 5 a bit later. Would that be ok to try our would it be to much?

You might be amaized at the difference of 8 hour dosing. Suggest you try that first, before considering an increase in T3

Important to get vitamins optimal first too

T3 at bedtime can improve sleep for some of us

Ok, so should try to get ferritin higher first. The other were ok in the autumn
