Magnesium which is best for under active thyroid ? I’ve been taking 200mg at night as I take my Levothyroxine on waking. I opted for magnesium citrate as it’s supposed to be easily absorbed anyone else have any advise ?

There is no best magnesium specifically for Thyroid. You choose the one most suitable for your needs. Magnesium citrate is useful where it's laxative properties can help.
Personally, I think the the jury is out on this one. I suffer no laxative effects on Citrate (due to being hypo and tending towards constipation) and also it does not require HCL (in the stomach which is low in hypos) to break it down.
I honestly never heard of the problem with ceruloplasmin before, but will have a look... and here Carolyn Dean author of Magnesium Miracle (who does not sell the citrate form)

seems not to find that to be an issue.. she does, however, agree that citrate can be a bit laxative as it draws in water.
