I found cure for my tiredness, dizziness, anxiety and general unwell feelings with underactive thyroid

Hi everyone.

Ive been diagnosed with underactive thyroid back in 2014.

Im on alternative 125/150mg levothyroxine.

After suffering extreme tiredness and all sorts of strange symptoms , I finally found ways to cut down all my problems.

Happened by accident. Long story but I drink fresh made juice in the morning on a empty stomach heres what I add.

1 Beetroot,

Half cucumber,

2 dates,

1 carrot

1 apple

Squeeze fresh lemon

Occasionally add handful of spinach or a few strands of water cress.

Add plenty of water to make it thin otherwise its just too thick to drink.

Tends to be equivalent to 2 glasses of juice.

Please please if your suffering try it.

I felt the improvement within the first week. Improved by at least 80%.

I would always feel rough in the morning during work and around 4pm I would feel ill again. Its totally eliminated these issues. Also suffered from dizziness which I barely get anymore.

I drink more a less everyday. If I stop drinking all my symptoms appear back slowly within 4/5 days.

Let me know if it works for anyone else.

Ive been drinking for approx 8 months. My best year I have had in the last 3 years.

Please some feedback if anyone trys it thanks.

Wouldn't it be a lot less hassle to just optimise your thyroid hormones? Because you really don't sound optimised at the moment.

Ive had so many appointments and blood tests over the years and docs keep saying all levels are fine but always felt rough. This juice has solved so many issues, I was so close to quitting my job at one point when things became unbearable. I wish I could tweek my meds but all professional don't seem like they don't know what they doing. I just gave up on them.

They don't know what they're doing. We all know that. But you could self-treat.

Hi, I just bought a juicer about three months ago, to go with the vitamin supplements I take ( which I got tested for ) ..and of course the optimal thyroid meds!😊. I then read a lot of stuff on the internet saying juicing was bad for you, too much sugar in one hit and a risk of diabetes long term etc etc. Like everything it's a question of balance, so I'm trying to mix lots of veg juice, in the juice mixes I do. I usually only make fresh juice at the weekends anyway. I might try this ..always on the lookout for a good recipe.

That's great. Yeah I do have a slight concern with Alot of sugar intake. Do you suffer from any symptoms at the moment?

Hi there. I eat at least 5 portions of vegetables a day, I don't count them because I really love them. I don't eat much fruit though. I do have to be careful because my HBA1C is hovering under what is so called pre diabetic. Don't eat bread. Cake once a week with my friends etc.

Yes I have symptoms....exhaustion ..which seems to be from a lack of ability to access energy stores after ive burnt off what I've eaten, and the usual static non budging weight which isn't increasing but neither is it decreasing. Poor temperature control and total intolerance of being too hot. Just thought I was weird until Hashimotos was diagnosed !! People were always commenting on my thermostat, and I can't get in a hot tub or normal bathwater, just too hot. The tiredness is the thing though, so I'm just trying to optimise my health from all sides, avoiding nitrates, preservatives, msg etc.

Juicing a little to supplement my health is part if it. It's interesting to see all the replies :0)

No only too much sugar in one hit but also a large amount of chemicals that are on the vegetables and apples because you aren't peeling them and even if you did peel - some of the chemicals are absorbed into the fruit - so eating one or two a day is far better than a large amount in a juicer.

I've been juicing for ages too and love it, I have bouts when I make some every day for weeks and then forget for weeks though! I like the sound of yours and make similar with a base of carrot, green apple and celery and usually something like watercress, roquet, wild greens or spinach. I don't do juice fasts though, I have the drinks as part of my normal routine, and I don't make all-fruit juices either. Even my son-in-law so loved the juices that he got a similar juicer and makes some every day for them. Fresh veg juices can provide so many nutrients in an easy to take form that I think they're especially good when people are ill!

A food facts program last week analysed fresh, frozen and tinned fruits and veg and surprisingly the fresh came out with less nutrients, particularly vitc, frozen are better because the picking to freezing time is so quick, there is also the problem with fresh products the time held in storage, apples and potatoes can be stored for a year before going on the shop shelves.

That's good to know. Might try some frozen products.

Interesting thank you. I always buy organic veg and fruit and wonder sometimes how long they've been kept. A local shop has produce from their biodynamic farm which tastes so much better than the supermarket produce, and better even than Abel & Cole's, which must also store things somewhere. I'm not sure that the things I use most - carrots, green apples, celery, cucumbers - would be available frozen, but it's a very good point.

Well done to you - you have identified all the items in the food chain that stimulate the adrenal glands naturally. Apples and lemons and cucumber in particular - I know this because over the years I have used these items to help my adrenals which were skewed.

Thank you so much for posting this! It seems to be a cure for almost every disease and again back to the thought that nutrition or the lack there of is at the root of many illnesses. If we think about it nutrition, food that offers basic nutrients is not an option! so if we eat cardboard and synthetics and get sick we’re surprised!

I know that’s an over simplification and yet not quite that much of a stretch.

I have older friends here in the United States they’re in their 80s and they’ve had a garden quite a large garden in their backyard for over 30 years and they preserve (canning) and eat fresh homegrown vegetables almost every day. They have other healthy habits such as 3 to 5 hours of exercise everyday - at their age! They cut wood for heat in winter time. They have very few diseases - take little or no medicines - drink only filtered / distilled water. On and on - what we have all learned that we need to do to be healthy - eat and drink clean healthy food.

So yes! Juicing works miracles and we hear how people have returned to health this way, consequently leaving junk food and fast food / processed food.

It’s kind of like building materials. You can build with inferior materials and patch / repair (as we do with medicine and supplements - as I do confess) or you can build with superior materials (real food as well as can be found or grown today) and be done with it for the most part. (Live happily and healthy!) It’s a matter of choice and priorities - and a bit of a gamble. But real food / real nutrients work surprisingly well! Thanks so much for sharing.

Yes nicely put. Diet control is so important, especially if anyone is suffering from illnesses. Might look into home grown vegetables, something I'm interested in. Thanks for your time
