Hi, I’ve just had my results from a saliva test for cortisol. I take 125mg of Adrenavive daily with my breakfast about 8am. Results are:
On waking 23.60 nmol/L (6.0 -21.0)
12 noon. 4.59 (1.5-7.6)
4pm. 2.94. (0-5.5)
10pm 2.01 (0-2.0)
I’m a bit confused about what this means. Is it because the adrenavive is keeping thecortisol at the correct level at 12 and 4pm but the effects have worn off by 10pm and in the morning?
I would appreciate some feedback on this. Thanks

Optimal cortisol levels (for the saliva test) are supposed to be
Waking sample: Very top of range
Noon: approx 75% of range
Afternoon: approx 50% of range
Bedtime: bottom of range
So it looks like your waking sample is just slightly over the top of the range.
Your noon sample is 51% through range.
Your afternoon sample is 48% through range (if you can actually believe the bottom of the range is 0, seems a bit strange to me. Would anyone really have zero cortisol in the middle of the afternoon?)
Bedtime sample is too high.
Did you leave off your Adrenavive for a few days, or did you take it right up to the day before the test?
OK, so your results aren't too bad, personally I wouldn't be worried about the very slight over range waking sample, your noon sample is a bit low, afternoon sample is good, bedtime sample is too high. How does it compare with before taking Adrenavive?
