Confused! Thyroid or ovary cyst

So who knows what is going on and clearly the doctors are not interested!

Pain in lower right since December - doctor says muscle but it gets worse every month during period and then dull ache rest of month

Headache, sickness, pain in upper back - awful during period.

Blurry eye all ok and nothing wrong with it, general aches and pains.

Feeling sick all the time - rarely am sick though. Neck hurts if I press on it and previously told acid reflux

Needing a wee all the time - no infection all clear.

Doctor gave me thyroid meds and said she wasn’t sure it was it! I haven’t taken then!

What is going on 🤦‍♀️

I can think of a few things that might cause pain in the lower right of the abdomen.

1) Inflamed appendix

2) Ovarian cyst(s)

3) Endometriosis

Obviously nobody here can look for, test for, or diagnose any of those things for you, and the list of suggestions I've made will be incomplete.

Some suggestions - I am not medically trained in any way ...

1) Inflamed appendix - antibiotics

2) Ovarian cyst(s) - an ultrasound scan

3) Endometriosis - this is a tough one. Endometriosis does not show up on ultrasound scans, X-rays, CT scans, or MRI scans. The only way of diagnosing it is with a laparoscopy where the surgeon must actually look for the evidence. Even then if the surgeon looks in the wrong place you might get a negative diagnosis when you actually have the disease. I'm out of date with methods of diagnosis and modern treatments for endometriosis - you would be best to find a community on this site which deals with the condition. Try these :

Nearly 40,000 members : healthunlocked.com/endometr...

Nearly 12,000 members : healthunlocked.com/pelvicpa...

Something to bear in mind - I think endometriosis substantially increases the risk of developing a type of ovarian cyst called a "chocolate cyst". This is a cyst filled with blood. There are several different types of ovarian cyst, not just one.

...

I said my list was incomplete - you might want to consider gut problems too e.g. Crohn's Disease, ulcerative colitis, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Coeliac Disease, non-coeliac gluten sensitivity. The only one of these I'm familiar with is the non-coeliac gluten sensitivity. Giving up gluten made me feel quite a bit better, but I had to find this out under my own steam - doctors just told me my gut was fine or that I had IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and they consider this to be a mental illness, which is why I didn't involve them.

...

If you have a thyroid problem, and your thyroid hormone levels are too low or too high then this might cause all sorts of problems for the gut and the reproductive system.

...

Good luck. :)

"Doctor gave me thyroid meds and said she wasn’t sure it was it!"

Did she carry out visual tests such looking at your face for swelling/moon face, legs for oedema, tongue for pie crust indentation, skin for dryness; test your reflexes; palpated your throat for signs of goitre (I'm guessing no to all those as they've nearly all forgotten that's how you diagnose hypothyroidism). So did she test your TSH/FT4/FT3/TPOAb/TGAb? If so, what were your results?

Your blurry eye 'may' be incidental, or may be connected. I've had blurry eyes for years and have been told by several opticians that some people simply produce more of the proteins that naturally occur in the fluid around the lens, causing blurriness. However, it can also be a symptom of diabetes which can cause the lens to swell and/or the sugar upsets the balance of those proteins, both of which can cause the blurriness. Hyco San drops are very good, whilst you sought out the other issues.

Thanks for replying. No to all of your questions. She didn’t do anything. Although the previous doctor did do quite a few of those but didn’t say what for. I paid for private blood tests

TSH 4.75 (r up to 4.2)

FT4 15.1 (12-22)

FT3 5.32 (3.1-6.8

Thyroglobulin 10.2 (under 115)

Peroxidase under 9 (under 34)

Doctor said low Vit D - I’m waiting for private blood results

Said all results normal. Diabetes blood was something like 5.2 so well in normal.

I did see copy of blood results saying raised RBC, low red blood distribution and raised lumpsocyte count.?

Thanks
