The Vit D Council suggests, for your current level of 64nmol/L (25.6ng/ml) to take 3,700iu daily to reach their recommended level of 125nmol/L (50ng/ml)
How come you have got such a high dose D3 supplement? It would be better to take the lower dose daily.
If you are going to take the 20,000iu supplement, then I would take 1 sachet every 5 days and take 3 drops of K2 daily.
The magnesium citrate capsules say to take 1 or 2 capsules per day. As magnesium citrate can have a laxative effect start with 1 capsule. I take the powder form and built up slowly and roughly take the same amount as in 1 Cytoplan capsule.
Thank you SeasideSusie for your prompt reply as usual. A friend has got me calciferol granules from India by the company called Cadilla. I went to a diabetes workshop last year and these sachets were highly recommended. It's 60,000 iu so I was going to split it into three doses. I take magnesium twice a week but will have it regularly if I'm having 20,000 iu of vitamin D. Should vitamin k2 be taken daily for long. Do you take breaks in between?
I take K2 on the days I take my D3, which at the moment is daily. In the summer I may drop the number of days that I supplement so the days I don't take D3, I also don't take K2. That's just the way I do it.
