I use Wockhardt too and so far have had no problem obtaining it.
However, the pharmacy attached to the surgery I go to suddenly said last year that they no longer supplied Wockhardt. The pharmacy is a branch of Lloyds.
I took my prescription down the road to a Harts chemist and they have had no problem getting it for me. So far.. Perhaps the situation might have changed when I go in again, but nothing was said when I went in a week or so ago to collect my prescription.
Perhaps you could try a different pharmacy? Good luck.
None of the other pharmacies in town have ever offered the combination of Actavis 100 + Wockhardt 25. (Whether the Actavis is repackaged as NorthStar or Almus.) Lloyds have consistently been helpful and reliable - until now!
It isn't a problem for me at present! I posted mainly to let people know.
Oh I see. Sorry, I seem to have got the wrong end of the stick. Aktavis was a problem for me so I jump perhaps too quickly when people talk of difficulties in obtaining Wockhardt. Glad you’re ok anyway.
I had a TT in January this year and am on 125 mcg Levo with the 25 mg always being Wockhardt but last prescription was Mercury Pharma from Lloyd’s. I’m not really clued up on different brands and didn’t really take much notice!
Changing makes is generally a bad idea. Even if you experience no adverse effects, people do find that one make simply feels a bit different to another. And you don't want to go through that every 28 or 56 days - or whatever.
Well worth getting to know the makes - there are not very many of them.
