Merry Christmas! ⛄️🎅🏼I would like to thank all here for what they do and especially the few that replied to my last posting that helped me out enormously in deciding what medication to go on.
I have a thyroid blood work here and although it’s not a full panel I was hoping I could please get a few opinions in reading it....

Hi, I didn't see your previous post, but had a quick look.
Your TSH looks much too high and your T4 at the bottom of the range. T3 is so-so I think (Don't know much about optimal levels for that) Have you been tested for antibodies yet (seems you hadn't last time)?
At least they have acknowledged you may have "Subclinical" hypothyroidism, which often brings some extremely "Clinical" symptoms!
The main question is "Do you feel any better?"
It was suggested last time that you may have central hypothyroidism (not connected with a fault in the thyroid). Have you been investigated for that?
Thank you very much Jnetti. You have highlighted much for me.
Originally I had high TSH and too high Reverse T3 that I was given Compounded T3 a fair while ago where I flushed out my RT3 with it. Now it seems my T3 is ok (although this test was not reverse T3).
My TSH is still high....???
Also, I did have my AB and TRB Antibodies and are all within range.
Central hypothyroidism? No I will check this out, thank you.
If I can make it out clearly (it's a bit blurred for me), the reference range on your results is 0.4-4 Uml/L. Your TSH is 8, twice the top of the range!
At it's highest when tested, mine was 5.94 mU/L range 0.27-4.20, and marked as high. I was still getting symptoms when it was 2.99!
Not sure whether it's the same with Central hypothyroidism, but a "Normal" TSH (or even below range if you are on T3), is better for most hypos. I'm no expert though - have only been on this forum for a few months and there's so much to learn. But it does seem strange to have such a high TSH.
Have to go out, but will try to find out more later on. You can do a search of the forum for "Central hypothyroidism" though
Thank you so much Jnetti 👍. It is very high. With that said, my Functional Doc put me on Levothyroxine. He actually thinks I may have Mycoplasma, which can be mistaken for Lyme disease, which can be mistaken for Thyroid disfunction.....feewww that’s a mouthful.
There are different forms of Mycoplasma but the one he suspects me of is similar to what the soldiers came home with from the Gulf war. This Mycoplasma was introduced through both injections the soldiers were given and biological warfare put in the sand over there (given to them by the US as well). My point being is that there are diseases that mask themselves behind hypothyroidism so it doesn’t always finish with thyroid medication.
With that said, I still need to treat my thyroid and he has now given me T4 to take. Will see how that goes and get new bloodwork done this time around including Reverse T3 count too.
