Low vitamin D is extremely common
Causes bone pain
Depends where on the hip - the joint itself is mid-groin or slightly more to the right or left - depending which hip ! On the outside of the hip area is the Greater Trochanter - which most people hold onto when they say - oh my hip hurts ! The biggest muscles in the body - the glutes - hang around that part of the pelvis as do ligaments and tendons like the large Tensor Fascia Latta ... so any inflammation in the lower back or the gut can reflect hugely in this area. I suggest you look at Ray Long on the web - a yoga guru but great drawings of the body ... T4 converts into T3 in muscles as well as in other places - so low T3 can often be the cause of aches and pains along with VitD.
Many of us suffer with Trochanter Bursitis - myself included
Hi marz .. its in the right side hip. Mainly on outside but im getting aching on inside in the groin aawell.. and also seem to have it on the other hip but not as bad.. its worse when resting ..and not so bad when walking..
There are some Acupressure points on your back - just down from the waist and three inches from spine - dig in with thumbs until you find tender spot then hold and then release. Maybe an x-ray is needed ... You could google it for more information ...
I think you might be right... An x-ray could give some.information.. its definitely worse when relaxing.. it feels unstable... Right in my hip.. also on the glute and down my thigh.. moving about.. do you think a problem on the right side could refer over to the left side on occasions ??
Im waiting on the medicheck thiyroid check.. so we will see how the t3 is doing but vit d test will be a few more days... Im not taking any supliments at the moment..only 50mcg of levo ..have to admit if not been feeling great last few days .. i felt pretty good at 1st going on levo
Dose sounds too little - so start a new post when you have results - so more people see them ...
Could be thyroid related, arthritis or even blood circulation. Have all the hairs on your lower legs fallen out? See your doc and get assessed.
