Thyroid has grown back

Hi everyone I had a thyroidrectmy feb 2017 due to a misdiagnosed of thyroid cancer. Well it’s grown back should I get my thyroid levels tested? The last time they were done was six months ago

Who has told you that your thyroid has grown back and how was that conclusion arrived at? Why are they not monitoring / testing your thyroid functioning accordingly? Are you currently taking replacement hormones, if so at what dose. When you were tested 6 months ago, was that before or since the thyroid had been noticed growing back, and what were your results & their ranges?

My doctor told me it had grown back when she saw ultrasound results which was 3 months ago it also I have had pain and tightness in the last 3 months. I’m on 100mcg of thyroxine 5 days a week and 150mcg 2 days a week from memory my free T3 was 3 my free t4 was 21( below 18 is normal)and my reverse T3 was 499 my tsh was 1.2 can’t remember the rest off ranges. I missed my last Endocronligist appointment due to a hospital stay I’m starting to think all the scans the gave me when I was unconscious started the process of it growing back.
