5th week pregnat with tsh 11.944

Hi I am 5th week pregnant with tsh value 11.944 .

Few months back I had an ectopic pregnancy doctor removed my fallopine tube right side.

Now I m pregnant 5th week running yesterday I got my tsh value 11.944.

Worrying about this.

Will it affect baby? or

chance of miscarriage?

Can any one suggest me best

So sorry to hear your having such a difficult time you’ve been through a lot.

Do you have your FT3 and FT4 test results? What does your GP say? Do you have an Endocrinologist looking after you if your trying for a baby?

Your TSH should be - First trimester: less than 2.5 with a range of 0.1-2.5. Second trimester: 0.2-3.0. Third trimester: 0.3-3.0.

I’m sure someone more experienced in pregnancy will comment but if you have any more info I’m sure it would help them x

See your GP immediately for 25mcg or 50mcg dose increase in Levothyroxine

TSH should be under 2.5 when pregnant

Essential to test folate, B12, ferritin and vitamin D too

Thanks for your response.

2days back I done my Hcg level it was 1038

And yesterday I done again it was 3270

And my thyroid reports will be out tomorrow .

And I'm under 75mcg daily.

Just wondering how you are and the pregnancy? Did you manage to get your TSH down??
