2 WEEKS BACK ON LEVO AFTER 2 YRS OF NDT !!!!

Hi to all on the forum, hope you are all well. I haven't posted for a couple of weeks as I wanted to see how things go regarding symptoms etc. after going back onto 150 mcgs of Actavis Levo from 2 years of buiding up 2 1/2 - 3 grains of Nature throid. At first I noticed I was feeling a lot better energy levels were good and I felt fine, (as fine as I can be) however the last couple of days I have noticed I am a little light headed … dizzy … wondering if my thyroid is wondering were the T3 is ??? I don't know? All vitamins as far as I know from last BH test 1 month ago are good. Wondered if Seaside Susie, GreyGoose, Shaws and many of the other girls have any advice...My private Endo is calling me on Sunday 4 Nov she doesn't know ive gone back to levo so I will be telling her how bad my symptoms were from the last batch of NT and how I went downhill very quickly and had to do something as I was really poorly again.

Any suggestions and help would be really appreciated and thank you all in advance for your time.

Thank you for your post. I was thinking of doing the same as the last NDT (NT) left me in a right state. I never felt dizzy on Thyroxine, more that my head was made of lead.

In the end I purchased some NDT from Thailand and am slowly getting better.

I think I would be tempted to add a bit of T3 to the mix, if you can find any or your Endo can prescribe it.

Please keep us up to date on how you feel as I know there are a few here who were on NT and are now trying to find their health again. Good luck.

Serenfach thank you for your kind reply ..my endo will be calling me on sunday evening and i will ask her what she thinks about me adding a little t3 ive got some already so maybe give it a try ...it gets you down just trying everything and anything to find that Sweet Spot ...but i will never give up. Good luck to you also on your thyroid journey. It will be good to see my blood results after 6 weeks on levo to see were they are. I will post to let members see.

Why did you go back to Levo Christina? I'm on NDT and don't feel it's the miracle I thought it would be ☹. I'm on 2.25 grains and still feel hypo, but have a thumping heart?! I was on 100mcg of levothyroxine before I started Thai Thiroyd a couple of months ago.

I went back on levo because since my last perscription of nt in april all my symptoms came back i was bedridden throughout the whole of the summer feeling awful...nature throid was doing nothing for me why pay all that money to be sick i may as well get levo free and i feel so much better its 6 weeks today i went back so i will be doing my bh blood test on monday and have a look to see were the figures are etc. I lost all confidence in nature throid ....something wasnt right in that latest pill.

That's the worry isn't it. Dodgy batches. I hope your blood results are good. Actavis was the best levo for me but I still wanted to try NDT. If my test isn't good in a few weeks, I think I'll be changing back too!
