Problems with nature throid
I initially had trouble with Nature Throid but more recent batches seem to have been ok (did a blood test today so I’ll know in a day or two whether that’s still the case... )
Many here seem to do well with Thai NDT and it’s comparatively cheap but you’ll need to ask for people to private message you with how to get hold of it.
Thank you
In Spain you can easy buy Erfa NDT in the Pharmacy.
Hi, I also live in Spain, but have never been able to purchase Erfa here. Does it come under a different name?
Thank you.
You can buy it in Farmacia Andorra, they send it the next day to you. They can also order any other NDT for you but it will take few weeks to arrive. Just email them and ask for Erfa
I am having the same problem, I am having a trial of Efra at the moment, they are a nightmare to split, even with a pill cutter they crumble, and I’m feeling like I am carrying a dead weight a lot of the time...I’m apprehensive to try Nature Throid again as I put weight on and all symptoms came back..
I was using WP Thyroid which has been out of production for some time, so I switched to NP Thyroid. I have no problems with this brand now. Initially I thought it wasn’t as good, but I think that was my stupid anxiety.
Feb results - TSH 0.03, T4 - 14.1 T3 - 4.1
Sept results - TSH 1.57, T4 - 7.9 T3 - 3.1
Taking the same dose of Nature Throid throughout. Feb results are pretty much in line as when I was taking WP, and felt OK. From July onwards I was on a new batch of NT, and began to feel worse every day. Weight was piling on despite being busy, hair like I had been using it to paint a ceiling, and then my heart started playing up. I have never had heart problems and am furious at myself for trusting a company I had used for years. I emailed them yesterday to ask about dosage to get me back to where I was. I was on two and a half grain, so maybe if I go up to 4 grain, it will work? I have two full 90 jars of tablets - such a waste of money that I cannot afford.
Oh, and my GP was delighted with my "much more normal results". The butterfly battle is hard enough without the drug companies messing about!
