London endocrinologist recommendations please

Hi Everyone

I have lived in France for the past year and was diagnosed with Hashimotos Hypothyroidism while I've been living here. I have a great Endocrinologist here but am about to move back to London so need to find a new one.

I am nervous because my previous experience with NHS doctors has been that they are disbelieving/dismissive. I am lactose intolerant although I haven't been tested for this but in France my doctors have been amazing and switched me to L-Thyroxin Henning when I brought it up. I am worried about how my health will be affected if I have to start all over again.

I have private health insurance but will need to go to my GP first for a referral - and then I believe I can choose which specialist to go to.
