Dizziness
Hi Blerta1
Have you seen your doctor about your dizziness?
Do you have a thyroid condition (this is a Thyroid forum) ?
Have you had B12 tested? Low B12 can cause dizziness.
Also Benign Positional Paroxysmal Vertigo (BPPV) causes dizziness.
And there can be other causes so if you haven't already seen your doctor then you should make an appointment.
Hi yes I did meet many doctors and I did blood test ,I check my eyes, ear all fine,ct scan and still suffering very badly
You need to go back to your doctor then.
What blood tests were carried out?
Was BPPV considered, I had that and it was sorted by doing the Epley Manoeuvre.
I had full blood test
What blood tests and what were the results?
I have done for diabetes and is fine, vitamin D is ok ,I’m very confused 🤷♀️ I don’t no want to do else,1 year still feeling bad
Can you add your actual results and ranges for B12, folate, ferritin and vitamin D
Low B12 and folate work together so need both tested together
I was talking b12 suplements but I have pain on my stomach
Did your doctor check your blood pressure when sitting and then standing?
Did you have blood tests to check U&Es in particular sodium level?
Do you eat a healthy well - balanced diet?
You do need to keep going back to your doctor. No one can diagnose on here. But if you can obtain copies of all your blood tests results this will be helpful. xx
I'm surprised no one mentioned it on thyroid forum...
Check your cortisol levels.
Your GP will.only do blood morning one.
You can do 4 or 6 samples saliva cortisol privately.
Ask for endocrinology referral to get short synacthen test - if two above tests show low cortisol.
Check historical posts on this forum for replies on cortisol testing, cortisol levels, people experience and symptoms with low cortisol.
Have you by any chance had to change from English T3 to a foreign one? I ask that because, although I have had dizziness in the past which is normally with gaps in between, after being forced to buy my T3 from overseas I started getting severe vertigo a couple of hours after taking it on a daily basis. The German and French T3 both list this at the top of the side effects list whereas the English one doesn't. Someone said that it could be lack of potassium and I will ask about that when I next see the endo next month. Been fine now I'm back on the English one. I do sympathise, it's horrible.
We don't yet know whether the OP has a thyroid condition and is being treated, unfortunately they haven't answered that question and there's no information in their profile. They're a new member and this is their first post, I don't actually think they do have a thyroid problem or it would have been mentioned. Lots of people put a certain symptom into a search engine and it points them to these forums because it picks up on a certain word.
I was suffering from dizziness and asked my cardiologist. He said it could be dehydration and that I should drink more water. Sure enough, the dizziness went away after a day or so of drinking more water. I'm not saying this is your problem, just mentioning what happened to me.
It could be from adrenal fatigue . Did you try to take some Celtic Sea Salt with water and see if that helps you . I take a pinch of Celtic Sea Salt in a full glass of water . Vitamin "C" B-Complex and B-5 magnesium can be very supporting for your adrenals too .
I was taking b complex and b12 but my stomach was hurting bad
How about your blood pressure? Are you saying it's when you go to stand from a sitting position, or when you're standing and moving about? Does it go away when you sit?
Just when I’m standing and moving I feel dizzy, sitting and relaxing goes way.
