Have you recently changed brand of Levo?

You could try antihistamine before taking Levo

Other possibles are coeliac or gluten intolerance

Or as you have Hashimotos are you already gluten free?

I haven’t tried gluten free yet even though I know I should and yes it is a different brand of Levo l was recently tested for celiacs and it was negative thanks for your reply x

Majority of Hashimoto's don't have coeliac, but a very high number find strictly gluten free diet helps or is essential

Which is the brand you are now on? Teva upsets many many patients

Many people find Levothyroxine brands are not interchangeable. Once you find a brand that suits you, best to make sure to only get that one at each prescription.

Thank you I have just checked my 100 mg and my 25 mg are both different brands I will speak to my pharmacist to ensure I get my original brand

As Slowdragon has asked - what brand have you been switched to? I’d ask the pharmacist to switch me back to the previous brand.

But also - could it possibly be shingles?

in reply toJazzw

Having suffered shingles myself recently,I would question that too.

I would advise to see your GP as soon as possible. If by any chance you do have shingles you need to be prescribed treatment as soon as possible.
