Yesterday I have developed sudden stomach burning, nausea and some pain in gallbladder area after a meal. I have a history of stomach ulcers and had a treatment for h pylori this february.
I also had an ultrasound this february to check for gallstones but they could not find anything.
Can one develop them in a few months?

Never knew I had any gallstones, but I had a gallstone block the bile duct a few years ago...just got pain under ribs..that first Gp gave me antibiotics for...a week later saw another Gp with no improvement so he took bloods and found raised bilirubin etc( ie jaundice developing)... then had scan, and procedure to remove blockage few days later. So I presume blood test was the best form of diagnosis if you are thinking blocked bile duct.....your Gp could do that.
Not usually they take years to develop to the stage where they cause problems, i.e. pain.
This sound like something else. It could be that one is stuck in the duct which can cause pain.
All of my family have had their gallbladder removed including me. Mine was down to calcium stones. The gallbladder has to be choke full of stones i.e. full up before problems and this can easily be seen on an ultrasound. Go to your GP and ask
