Just wanted to share my Mother had very low ferritin 7, iron tablets did very little to increase her levels, her GP arranged an iron infusion and when TSH was checked 2 weeks later as GP was planning increase in thyroxine(currently on 75mcg) her levels had improved significantly. I know advice on here is always have optimal ferritin levels, my mothers case makes that very clear to me.
Thank you
