NDT + T3? Any comments /ideas ?

Morning Everyone!

I am thinking about changing my dose of Nature Throid from 2 1/2 grains to 2 grains plus 25 mcg T3. Has anybody done this?

Hi Sheenah, I posted earlier regarding nature thyroid, I think I have a faulty batch as my symptoms have returned, I’ve even put more weight on, something I haven’t done in over 20 years. Fortunately I had some t3 and felt much better instantly, I only took 6mg, or could it be that adding the t3,made up for the lower strength in my batch of Nature Throid...Once I sort my tablets out ,I’m seriously considering doing what you are suggesting, if I can source t3..

Interesting. I have a feeling my latest batch of nature thyroid is not working, but put it down to my brain...and told myself off in no uncertain words! I am just about to start a new batch so will see... We are at the mercy of the pharm companies doing the right thing, but I did wonder if I was taking cat wormer or something. I had a waist two months ago that seems to have disappeared - shame I cannot stuff the excess into my bra and have a decent bust for once!

I have thought of adding a bit of T3, but not at the 25mcg level - I was thinking 10mcg to start and see if it helped. Let me know how you get on please.

Wont be starting it yet until it arrives - will probably cut the 25mcg in half - cant seem to get T3 in smaller doses - pm me if you would to let me know. As for me, I will swap you the top half and I can't remember the last time I had a waist. At least we are alive and kicking and not living in the dark ages in 1372........aren't we? x
