I’ve taken 1 grain twice a day of NatureThroid for six months with no lab work drawn. (Dumb nut doctor). I still have the same myalgia and achey, tender joints as day one. I’ve had blood drawn without the NatureThroid taken for two days. That should help get a better idea of where I am
So? I was given advice by posters to up my NatureThroid since 1 grain is only a starter dose. How much? How often? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks everyone.

But, you're not taking one grain, you're taking two.
If you didn't take your NatureThroid for two days, then no way do you have any idea where you are. You will have a very, very false low FT3. I'm afraid you've wasted your money, there. You should only leave maximum a 12 hour gap between your last dose and the blood draw.
GG-I understand the total amount I’m taking. Ie. 2 total grains. Did I misunderstand that “one grain twice a day is a stater dose”?? Either way, it wasn’t working.
So I left TOO LARGE a gap between ending my NatureThroid and the blood draw? Close to 36 hours. Great I misunderstood I figured the more time I left-the better. The endo told me it was still in my system I’m getting too many opinions it’s confusing
So? What amount should I take now to test if the 1 grain twice a day was too low?
The T4 will still be in your system, but most of the T3 will have left your blood. So your FT3 will be a false low, but even your FT4 will be a lower result than it should be.
Sorry, don't understand your last question. Go back to your 2 grains a day, and next time you test, just leave between 8 to 12 hours between your last dose and the blood draw. Absolutely no conclusions can be draw from that last test because you stopped it for too long.
For seven years I’ve had this pain and 11 docs. Six months on this NatureThroid with a doc who is too stupid to test me. Now I’ve screwed up by even trying with the new endo.
We all make mistakes. It's no reason to give up. I've been struggling for a lot longer than that with a series of stupid, ignorant, arrogant doctors, who didn't know their T3 from their elbows! But, I'm not going to lie down and let them win! No way! Better luck next time.
I had B12, Vit D, Vit A and folate checked yesterday. The endo refused to test my ferretin. I get weekly infusions of Vit C with B12 and folic acid. I bet those lab values are screwed up too.
