Extreamly anxiety treatment

Has anybody any experience with which treatment to use whilst suffering extream anxiety due too very low thyroid levels.im really struggling and can’t function ,I feel so uncomfortable and anxious 24/7.... I had an appointment with the mental health team and they say they would get me an appointment with the psychiatrist,I had been in the service 2 years ago and was discharged as they said my psychical health was causing my bad mental health...I’ve been on seroxat for 25 years at 40 mg and over the last 4 years managed too reduce it too 10 mg..I had a letter yesterday from the psychiatrist who wasn’t prepared to see me ,saying just stop seroxat now and go on venlafaxine,there’s no way I can do that as I’ve needed too reduce the seroxat by 1 ml every 4 -8 months ,my drs then rang and said seroxat has been taken off my repeat perscription now and venlafaxine added...I panicked and had to phone the out of hours crisis team,I’m so ashamed,this is all tourture...I wanted to take something specifically for anxiety just until I got my thyroid sorted ..I don’t know what to do.😢

I am truly sorry I haven't got any advice or answers to give you, but, having just suffered a few weeks of unbearable anxiety myself, I know just how bad that can be.

I see that you have not had any other replies yet (this forum is busier than ever), so I just thought I'd offer you my sympathy, if nothing else, and I will say a prayer for you, as others did for me when I was really struggling.
