So well done Mandy. You are proof that there is hope for all of us that struggle with weight gain. I was doing reasonably well until my Dr reduced my Throxine down. So for the past year I have only lost a total of 2lb. Still going to Slimming World and battling in though. I will get there! I will be thinking if you tonight when I go for my weigh in. Xx

its very hard for us hypos and im under medicated as cannot tolerate higher dose, i have cut down on carbs though so think thats helping (T2 diabetic)

i had a point where i gained back more than i actually lost and it was heart breaking so did a new start and rejoined, still gained weight then got diagnosed diabetic and seem to be losing now so not sure if its the metformin or less carbs

how did you do last night?

I lost 1 1/2 pound, stayed the same last week though. I am now 1 lb lighter than this time last year, so after 52 weeks attending S.W. all I have lost is that 1lb. Still probably would have increased weight had I given up. It’s a long old journey, but one I have no intention of giving up. You must be so proud of yourself for sticking with it. I am sure you will get where you want to be eventually. Xxx
