At Last - an appointment with Endo :)

After years of querying my thyroid problems with various GPs then being dismissed, now after 4/5 months wait I finally have an appointment with an endo on Dionne's list :

I think this has only been because I've lost 2 stone in weight - what does it take to be listened to

Still a few weeks hence but I'm crossing everything in the hope that I will be listened to and treated. I'd so like my life back please. j

Thanks shaws. Not sure what to expect frankly. Just feel a sense of relief at the moment - hope it isn't misplaced.

I certainly hope it isn't displaced because we need helpful and sympathetic Endos and there are a number of them. Unfortunately they have to do as directed by their superiors.

Thank you Rmichelle. Dear, oh dear, I do hope endo number 3 is helping you more than numbers 1 and 2 then. From reading here it all sounds like such a lottery - with huge odds. j
