CBD oil for hypothroid feeling brain dead

Has anybody taken CBD oil for hypothyroid. I've just started and have been really tired and brain fogged after my first few tries. Just 1drop three times a day. As tiredness and brain fog is just one of the crippling symptoms of my thyroid problem I'm trying to manage my dose of CBD. Just wondering if it might help if I add some olive oil to my CBD oil to weaken it a bit. CBD oil has pled with my other thyroid symptoms so don't want to stop. Has anybody any thoughts on this. Would be very appreciative for any advice. Many thanks. Jan

I think the idea of adding olive oil to it to reduce the potency is pretty awful. Have you ever taken a mouthful of olive oil?

Just reduce to one drop twice a day if it's too much for you - or even one drop a day to start with. I started on one drop a day.

I didn't have much in the way of fatigue or brain-fog when I started it, but I find it's greatly improved my ataxia, and my knees are now much happier going up and down stairs. :)

But, you know there are several kinds of CBD oil. Where do you get yours?

Hi I get mine from Holand and Barrett. I was only suggesting drop for drop not a whole spoonful I don't think I would notice the taste as CBD isn't the nicest and drop for drop would probably drown out the taste of the olive oil. Just a thought.

Well, I don't suppose you have much choice in H&B - personally, I wouldn't buy anything there. But, if you go on this site :

simply-cbd.co.uk/

You have a choice of different strengths.

Hi greygoose. Your reply caught my attention when you said it helped with knee problems on stairs. I never had knee problems until started taking levo so I made the (probably incorrect) connection that it was the levo causing it. Doc says it's arthritis and offered NSAIDs which I refused. Can I please ask what dose of the end oil has helped you?

I take six drops of Simply Green a day. But, I take them all together, at night, with my turmeric, because I can't fit it in more than once a day. :)

Fab. Thanks yet again greygoose. Love the way you share your knowledge and experience. Know what you mean about fitting everything in😉. Thinking it might help Jannypopins as well to take at night if can cause drowsy feeling x

I don't know if it causes drowsiness. I'm not someone who usually suffers from sleeplessness - the opposite is my problem! lol

Hi just come across this post interestingly my daughter wants me to try cbd oil from simply... she gets it for her dog.... but I wasn’t sure if could take it with T3/T4 after TT... finally levels in range after 3yrs but still feel horrendous all the time... have chronic daily headaches, face pain, muscle pains/aches, brain fog, ME/CFS fibromyalgia, anxiety depression insomnia etc so don’t know what’s causing what.... so by the sounds of it, cbd ok to take with thyroid meds, just wanted confirmation if that’s ok!

It's fine. No reason you shouldn't take it. Start on a low dose and slowly work you way up until you feel it's having some effect. Take it three times a day, if you can, but on its own, two hours away from thyroid hormones and all supplements. But, you can take it with food. :)

But, sounds like you're still having an awful lot of symptoms for someone on thyroid hormone replacement. So, I'm not sure how much it could help.

Hi

I started taking CBD oil capsules about 8 weeks ago i am taking entourage cbd capsules from lovecbd.com i am always tired even though my blood tests say my level is ok, i feel that this cbd oil is working slowly you cant expect miracles over night, i have other ailments and these are being dealt with by the CBD oil, as they say time is a healer,I have hypothyroidism and take 100mcg, I don't feel so drained of energy now, but it is still early days, good luck with the CBD oil.
