I’m keen to know if anyone has had any success with CBD oil? I’ve been using it and it’s turned my life around. Much more energised, focused and happier in myself.

I would like to try CBD oil but have no idea which one to buy - which one are you using?
Simply cbd there are several different strengths I started on the 800 perhaps a little too strong for a newbie, then listening to my body, I’m taking small steps every few days according to how I feel. I started with 1 drop night and morning...
Do you take it daily or just when needed for extra awful pain ? I've tried a sample bottle from CBD Brothers ( excellent) but was just thinking yesterday I need to buy more and maybe use regularly.
I take it night and morning if I ‘crash’ I’ll have an extra drop during the day.
I can’t say I’ve been in that much pain only muscle spasms which I put down to my job. It was the fatigue that was crippling me
It's the fatigue that I find the worst though my pain is getting worse. I think CBD oil twice a day is the way to go. Thanks for the info,
Imo there is a massive scam market out there as far as cbd oil is concerned. The real healing properties of cbd are said to be in cannabis oil yet most of the oils out there are falsely marketed hemp oil, still strictly speaking cbd oil but certainly not cannabis oil.
I would love to try cannabis oil to see if it could fix hashimotos but I'm not wasting money on over priced hemp oils...
I don't think it a scam at all. Especially as the THC-containing oil is illegal in many countries - including our home UK.
Further, even if such oil did have beneficial properties, it might not be a good idea to be under the influence, brain-wise, of the THC.
If the process is done correctly cannabis oil does not contain THC. There are ways to process it so the THC remains for medicinal purposes like pain relief. There are places and people on the black market that sell cannabis oil without THC. Obviously I would never recommend anyone to seek out illegal sales of cannabis oils made by drug dealers.
Cbd oil has been legal to buy in this country for a long time because it's hemp oil not cannabis oil.
All the media hype of late surrounding cbd oil has been about the legalisation of real cannabis medicine in this country...
it's derived from hemp oil

So with your knowledge, what is this? I’m confused.
Good to read your post! I’m having the same issue- there’s so much “stuff “ out there and it is not cheap! I’m sitting on my hands at present. I’ve read lots of reviews but not yet found a brand that I feel I can trust. Boots sell just one but can I trust Boots? No! Lloyd’s also sell just one as do some other chemists.
I took for a while (same brand as yourself)and found it helped me feel more calm than usual but found it did nothing to help my thyroid/hashimotos symptoms or chronic daily headaches /migraines(which was why I decided to take )There’s so many good reports though for so many conditions....including people I know personally...if I was to suffer with depression and/or anxiety I would definitely reach for a good quality cbd without hesitation .
I suppose we all are very different, for me thyroxine in the beginning only took the top off my symptoms, as time went on fatigue and muscle pain was my main issues. I’m 55 is it age, occupational?? I remember my mum at my age and the way I was feeling was not normal...... I’ve had blood tests done and I’m, according to my doctor, fine chest pains breathlessness and all. I was beginning to think ME, Fibromyalgia??? But that was all too severe. Having read the article, posted above, I’m hoping I’ve found the missing link. I am now taking 3 drops night and morning and am down to 50mcg from 150mcg I will continue to listen to my body and adjust CBD/ thyroxine accordingly.
Yes we are all very different..I’m early 50s and have found that the best I can get is with a combination of ndt and 25mg levothyroxine to keep my t4 up as well as t3 ......cbd did not for me help me to reduce medication and I was paying for private blood tests all the way through my months of taking it to monitor my levels ....I do however see time and time again how it helps people with various conditions and ailments......if only there was one protocol we all could follow to feel well .
I do wonder if I really am hypothyroid, or is it my endocanbidol system that’s up the shoot...
If you have a good health shop I would purchase it from there. It has many benefits but in a family member’s experience - sleep, taking a couple of drops before bedtime he sleeps deeper and can get back to sleep if he wakes up.
Try The Cherry Apothecary
They are Texas based but happy to ship and it's all organic. If you telephone they are extremely helpful
Why go for US based supplier rather than UK with Simply CBD? You may have a good reason to share. We bought from Simply after advice on this forum and googling independent reviews. Only using for our beloved dog with pain so can only comment she seems better with that. Impressive presentation in previous link from Heloise.
They’re in the uk next day delivery???? I was recommended two brand the other CBD Bros. Simply CBD was much cheaper, so went with that one primarily but am super happy.
I have a niece with MS and one post operative scoliosis spinal rod both have had amazing results I was guided by them, every one is different, so far it’s working for me.
I have tried thc hemp oil it’s stops a lot pain like nerve pain and inflammation
Just for the record I'm not poo pooing cbd oil from hemp, there is a lot of hype out there for it's healing properties which I'm not disputing.
I'm just merely pointing out that a lot of people read the miracle stories about cannabis oils curing cancer and other life threatening diseases/conditions and then go out misinformed and buy hemp oil believing it's the same thing...
I’m not that well informed enough to argue the point, what I use has no thc , which as understand it is the ‘high’ and the various CBD content is the therapeutic side. Read the link I posted it explains things.
I would love to try it, but read so many articles about conflicting interests. Some saying it stops any other meds from being metabolised.
I saw dr Barry Durrant Peatfield a few years ago and although NDT didn’t work for me. He did teach me to listen to my body and checking basal temps, BP and HR, so far everything is heading in the right direction. I’m listening.
Hi There, I can totally agree. It's been a life changer. I am on T3 from Germany at 50€ for 50 tablets of 1 grain, and CBD oil and I am almost (not quite) back to pre thyroid problems. I have hashi's and Graves... antibodies over 1500...I also had radio active Iodine treatment. My main problem was severe neck pain, headaches and exhaustion... hair loss also. Now I have only the neck pain to deal with, as the headaches are long gone, and i have more energy.
I would highly recommend it. Even to take the edge off the "grogy" feeling.

If you buy/use the ‘simply oil’ you can join this closed group on FB. It’s a totally legal oil. There are several admin who help and other users who support each other. I’ve noticed a few people with hypothyroidism are trying it out.
I have some very expensive stuff via my Functional Practitioner, I would never buy cheap, you get what you pay for
Not sure!
Because my BP was up, my eyes were like marbles and feeling a little low yesterday I decided to drop my thyroxine to 25 mcg and up cbd to 3drops of 5mg last night, today I felt fine but my voice dropped an octave and I have an under active bloaty face. This evening all seems normal, I’ll do the same tonight any see how it goes, I take my thyroxine at night.
Update......... I crashed, low bp, dizzy very achy throat, very tired.
No constipation, no achy joints or muscles, probably down to the cbd though.
I guess I went in too hard and fast. I’ve figured that given the life of thyroxine in my body I’m probably at 75mcg so I’ve dropped down to 1 4mg drop just in the morning and back up to 75 mcg thyroxine. See if I can find some kind of balance
I've made some adjustments and am now on 100 MCG thyroxin and 10 mg twice daily of CBD oil and feeling stable. Energy levels are good, no pain, sleeping well. I have noticed I can't eat as much, still hungry for three meals a day but wanting light foods and not able to make a pig of myself.
Hi can I ask which CBD oil and where did you buy it.Thankyou
