I was very pleased and surprised to see Lyn of TUK standing alongside representatives from other thyroid groups including the British Thyroid Foundation and the British Thyroid Association as previously both organisations have been quite hostile to the TUK cause. Does this mean that the BTF and BTA are now on our side regarding thyroid treatment and T3?

On our side might be prematurely optimistic, but a very positive meeting was had last week where everyone (including the BTA & BTF) agreed that things need to change. The groups you spotted have all agreed to work together. Whether everyone's goals will be addressed remains to be seen, but the signs are looking much more positive than they have done.
