Feeling rubbish................despite being medicated

I'm am currently on Levothyroxine100 microgram per day (since June 2018); previously 100/75 alternative days for approx 16mths.

Feeling rubbish................despite being medicated and my list of symptoms are increasing, ie:-

lack concentration, fatigue (at times), dry hair, split nails, moody, heat intolerance, dry eyes, low mood, twitching, spots on face, easily upset AND NOW and bone pain (shoulder and wrist).

Recently saw an NHS endocrinologist who thinks I need to see Musculoskeletal dept for bone pain, but I'm not convinced. Can anyone shred some light as i am quietly going insane, as I feel like I have been abandon on a NHS rubbish heap. In the meantime I have asked my GP for another referral for a 2nd opinion, but he doesn't feel my blood results warrants a 2nd opinion, as my TSH is normal despite my symptoms.

Blood results are:

......................................................JULY 2018

TSH 0.68 (0.27 - 4.2)

FT4 20.4 (12 - 22)

Vit D 86.1 (50 - 120)

......................................................JUNE 2017

TSH 0.35 (0.27 - 4.2)

FT4 17.3 (12 - 22)

Vit D 74 (50 - 120)

PS. i do supplement with selenium, Vit D, magnesium, milk thistle (when I remember to take them). Recently found out I have a fatty liver, so I guess a sluggish liver & under a liver specialist.

You need FT3 tested obviously

Vitamin D is too low and possibly causing bone pain.

Aiming to improve to around 100nmol. Vitamin D mouth spray by Better You is good as avoids poor gut function. It's trial and error what dose each person needs. Once you Improve level, very likely you will need on going maintenance dose to keep it there.

Retesting twice yearly via vitamindtest.org.uk

For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4, TT4, FT3 plus TPO and TG thyroid antibodies. Plus very important to also test folate, ferritin and B12

Private tests are available. Thousands on here forced to do this as NHS often refuses to test FT3 or antibodies

Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have money off offers.

All thyroid tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and fasting. When on Levothyroxine, don't take in the 24 hours prior to test, delay and take straight after. This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, GP will be unaware)
