I read a post recently and the person was taking NAC & Selenium and was doing really well with this combination. I am taking 150mcg of Levo and also inject growth hormone nightly. I was until last week on hrt but have decided to come off it to see if it makes any difference to my weight, I only take it for my bones. I have also started taking niacin and magnesium.
Please someone tell me I am going to get some energy from taking these supplements!! ☝️☝️☝️I know this weather is making people lethargic but I feel like I can’t put one foot in front of the other most mornings!
Thank you for your help!

What was the person taking NAC for? It's not something everyone takes, it's usually for something specific. I take it occasionally for my breathing problems.
Whether your supplements will give you energy rather depends on your thyroid levels - you won't be very energetic if you have low T3. Have you had that tested?
greygoose is so very right NAC is great for the lungs . I use it for my fatty liver that I acquired when I was hypo . It raises our glutathione levels that are so very vital for us . Selenium helps us convert T4 to T3 . And is cancer protective . For our thyroid meds to work better for us we need vitamin"D" /K2 , B-12/folate , Iron if your labs are low (ferritin).
I would highly suggest to read *SeasideSusies* Excellent posts on vital nutrients that are very beneficial with our thyroid meds .
*SlowDragon* has Great Posts on Gluten dairy free diet .
There are many components that help with our thyroid meds to work most efficiently for us and make us feel as well as possible . Pending that we are on the right thyroid meds and the right dose for us . It's very individual which meds are best for us . Some do well on T4 only . Some do great on T3and T4 combo . Some on T3 only and some on NDT with T4 combo or NDT only .
