Headaches
I think morning headaches are quite common for anyone with a thyroid problem of any kind.
Have you checked your vitamin and mineral levels recently? Being given an anaesthetic can substantially reduce the levels of vitamin B12 in the body and it has to be replaced as soon as possible.
You also need good levels of folate to make use of the B12 that you have.
And if there was any major bleeding during surgery then your ferritin and iron may have been reduced.
Another option entirely is to start keeping records of which brand of Levo you are taking. Some people find that they do better on one brand than another. So, start keeping records, and note symptoms you get with each brand. There are four manufacturers of Levo in the UK, and it would be worth trying them all.

If you find one make that reduces or stops your headaches altogether, then make sure you get a paper prescription which you can take to any pharmacy. Then phone up pharmacies before hand to make sure that they can supply the type and dosage that you require.
