Private prescription

Hi, I'm new here,

I have a private prescription for Liothyronine 10mcg. What are my options for getting the prescription filled in Europe/online. I have looked at prices in the UK and they are way too expensive. Any info greatly appreciated.

Usually the prescription is for 20mcg tablets. German Thybon Henning is 20mcg

You have three options for getting a dose of 10 micrograms:

Find one of the USA T3 products in 5 microgram tablets and take two of them;

Find one of the 20 microgram tablets (UK or Henning Thybon, for example) and split them;

Find a "specials" lab which will make them to order - probably as capsules.

I have absolutely NEVER seen a 10 microgram product.

A fourth outside possibility is to obtain the Italian Liotir liquid and then you can choose your dose.

Someone else posted a few weeks, or was it months?, ago asking the same question. Has the doctor actually written that 10 microgram tablets are to be dispensed? Or that is what you should be taking? If he expects them to be dispensed he is frighteningly out of touch.
