I am having extreme joint pain
Has anyone tried hemp based CBD will it affect ... - Thyroid UK
Has anyone tried hemp based CBD will it affect levo
Yes. And no. As long as you leave a two hour gap between the levo and the oil.
But, have you had your vit D tested? Joint pain is often due to low vit D3.
Vit D3 tested in may 73.9 nmo1/L 50.00 - 200 have been on vit D3 spray 3000 per day since Feb have now reduced to 3 times a week with all the sun we have been having it has made no difference to joint pain and stiffness.
OK
Hi having been a groin pain sufferer for six years and stiffness I'm no fighter on really, there are a few trains of thought. I was told b6 the other day? If you find help please let me know, maybe we need surgeries, I feel for me it's a two way thing, some being muscle from the hypo side and I know there is a bit of wear there although supposedly it's not enough to cause pain??? 🙈 I feel though logically if inflammation flares then this will cause pain obviously. I've read and told that big dose Vit C is excellent for inflammations generally in the body
I'm taking serapeptase also for generally ensyme care but early days x
My severe joint pain ceased as soon as I was given T3 in addition to Levothyroxine. NHS physio could not believe the difference.
Have you retested to see if level has increased. Even 3000iu is not enough for some, we are all different
Also, if you Bath or shower it's likely you wash off the vitamin D

Your recent results show low FT3 and low folate as well as low vitamin D
Are you taking a daily good quality vitamin B complex? One with folate in rather than folic acid
Also many, many thyroid patients find strictly gluten free diet helps reduce joint pain
If you have tried it you might be astonished
Hi SlowDragon, what did you mean when you mentioned washing off Vit D,
does it come through your skin?
The majority of vitamin D is made on skin by sunshine. Modern lifestyles, indoors, suncream and too clean all have resulted in many people having vitamin D deficiency
Some is absorbed by gut from food.
Thyroid patients need or use more vitamin D than average. Obviously often struggle to absorb from food.
