I have mentioned this before but wanted to revisit as this is troubling me still. I’ve been on levothyroxine 100 mcg for about 9 months. Within a couple of weeks of starting this medication I developed tenderness and occasionally pain in my right breast. I think if I take T3 this makes it worse and I no longer take this. I had a mammogram last Dec that was clear. However something in the Levo seems to be affecting me and causing this issue. I am 20 years post menopause and have never had this before. I wondered if anyone had similar problems? Views on whether NDT might help as more ‘natural’ . Seems the hormonal effects of Levo are not well considered.

It sounds as though it could be a blockage but why I wouldn't like to guess. When you had a mammogram was it a routine one or were they aware you have a problem? If it was routine and you never saw a doctor there I would ask for a referral as they are the experts and can give you better advice.
No it was a special breast check that included a mammogram. Checking why the pain but without any conclusion as to what’s causing it
