After partner had an accident on holiday and we have to stay days extra i asked for emergency supply of liothyronine . Pharmacist said they have supply but I cannot have any because it's no longer on prescription in the area of Wales I am in . I feel so sorry for you people here. I don't convert t4 to t3 so stuck. Luckily coma averted as we have now a plan b . I am now on his car insurance and off home tomorrow to my caring and determined consultant in Merseyside. And wonderful north west who put people before money

Wholeheartedly agree with you.

Changing the story to be insulin rather than T3, everyone would agree how awful a refusal would be.

Changing the story to poppppy actually going into myxoedema coma and ending up in intensive care, everyone would agree what a waste of hospital resources that would be.

Please, poppppy , name and shame the hospital and health board involved (not the individual staff). And I hope you and partner are getting over your respective health issues.
