How long for T3 to kick in?

How long does it generally take for T3 to fully kick in? Can it take a few weeks or longer? For ppl on T3 only?

How long is a piece of string....? Lots of permutations there- amongst them : how poor were your thyroid bloods tests at diagnosis, when was this, have you had levothyroxin( how much, are you a poor converter), what are your vitamin/mineral levels like ( eg optimum Vit D, B12, folate, ferritin, plus selenium, magnesium ...), have you Hashimoto's( ie poor absorption, possible shifts from hypo to hyper), what dose of T3 you now take?

If you have some blood test results, with FT3, post here - some members with similar experiences might advise. I take levothyroxin and T3, after years on levothyroxin only.
