I had to laugh at your post “Chelsea and Westminster is mine but even they are damn right thick”,

I’m learning quickly we know more than they do.

Yes my GP reckoned only a Endocrinologist can prescribe.

Best wishes

They hate me mate, they tell me to adjust or lower it and I ingore them point blank..I'm also on HC treamtent and I do the same there...they are here to provide T3 on pricribtion not tell me how to take it..its t's body not there's and only we know 😉, esp when they only use bloods to assess U..😉

One example " your tsh isn't low enough, we want it lower, but don't increase your T3 oh and U need t4 in your body...lmao no I don't that's what T3 is for..it's terrible conflicting advise and not worth me thinking about..

They don’t like people that know far more than they do.

They just want Thyroid patients that are zombies don’t answer back, don’t question anything and follow what they say to the T.

I’m on Levothyroxine at the moment, started March increasing dosage slowly, I’m getting better but I’m far from perfect.

I had a word with my GP about T3, he told me Endocrinologist can only prescribe, when I asked how he would feel if I brought it privately, he said that none of his patients needed T3.

Well god help anyone that does need it then, if they see him.

I’ve got Hashimoto’s too, so I may struggle just on Levothyroxine as Hashimoto’s patients can struggle converting T4 to T3.

At the moment I’m still under my GP as he is upping my dosage every 6 weeks.

You do have to look at your bloods, TSH, T3, T4 but, most importantly it’s how you are feeling, which the NHS sometimes fail to recognise.

Best Wishes

I have hashis too , but couldn't take t4 and refused too, brought my own T3 which was unstable , then used that as an escuse and got an emergency proscription for T3 and that's it done , sorted... Bascially forced the NHS to give it me... I become aggressive and implusive and sex additticted , so I become a risk due to HIV..so they had no choice ...with HC I also get it myself and it stopped skin cancer and other issues, so I made a choice..die of aids or kill my adrenal glands(which aren't function ING correctly) I reckon I made the right choice... Also NHS adrenal tests are based in the UK population which is overweight(IE low corstol) I'm not I burn fat quick... So the tests were stupid and didn't take into account the stress that HIV puts on the adrenal glands... I also still have low body temps like 35.8 at midnight..

Do be careful of HC. Whether you trust your doctors or not, HC needs to be taken correctly or it will shut your adrenals down. Never take it after 1 pm.

Oh I know, big time ..but they also don't take into account other issues...butso have HIV and it's preventing certain conditions and my qualift of life has increased... Honestly I don't care, if I get 10yrs of a good life .. HC removed my symptoms not T3.. T3 just stabilised my bloods , HC has done much more... It's hard to explain but all my other bloods were unstable or low untill HC.. T3 gave me side effects which hc has removed .. but yes I'm fully aware but don't care ..

Unfortunately, we have no rights with NHS treatment. You get what you get when the GP or god-like endo decides to prescribe

We have more rights than U know sersily satnd your ground.....we own the NHS .. I putt myself at risk to do so as they wouldn't listen and got what I wanted.... I now also have that T3 is there if U can't tolerate t4..it's right
