Hi, I'm fairly new to this forum, what a great find!
I am off to see dr p tomorrow and actually can't wait to get some answers to symptoms I have had forever.
I went to the dr the other day to get a print out of my blood test result from the last 5 yrs. some really quite low, however the one I am most worried about is GRF calculated abbreviated MDRD with AKI warning stage written under that and then under that NA. Reading was >90 mL/min however range was > 60mL/min (this was July 2017)
Now I am not a dr and so have no idea on this , but it doesn't look too good and my dr didn't mention it!
Any help on what this means would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I might be wrong, but at face value that doesn’t appear to be anything to worry about. It says “NA” against the warning, which I would take to mean “not applicable”. Using that range, you need your glomerular filtration rate to be above 60. Well, yours was above 90, which is definitely more than 60 - so all is well.
It’s a test to see whether you have kidney disease. See:
I suspect that NA might more likely be No Action in this context?
But absolutely right, a GFR of > 90 is good. The interpretation is that some impairment is tolerable, but when that reaches a rate of 60 or lower, further investigation or action is required.
Hi Jazzw and helvella, thank you so much for your help. No being a doctor or from a medical background, when you see the word warning, naturally you panic.
There is absolutely no problem with you being concerned and posting/asking as you did. That is towards 99% of the reason for the forum.
Just one minor problem. You clicked on the box at the very top or bottom of this thread - headed Reply to Fuzzyducklin. You should have clicked on the blue word Reply under Jazzw's second response - then we would both have been alerted to your reply.
Or type @ j a z z w - then select the name from the list displayed which will show as Jazzw - that will alert Jazzw.
