Panicking a bit- Versandapo website no longer works?

I’m due to see a private endo tomorrow and am hoping he will write me a named patient prescription for Thybon Henning 20mcg T3. I registered with Versandapo a couple of weeks ago but am struggling to work out how to change the language to English and to log on. Even worse, when I search for Thybon Henning, it seems to indicate (in German, so I’m guessing) that it is no longer available.

Has anyone managed to order recently? I’m worried that I’m about to waste my money paying to see an endo tomorrow.

Thank you in advance for any help- I’m panicking!

I have also phoned them today and was told to email as no one spoke English.

Hi Kipsy

As far as I can tell from their website, it would appear that you can only order prescription meds if you are in Germany. (I think).

If you can get a prescription from the endo then you can try here: thyroiduk.org/tuk/treatment...

Thank you very much Louise. I think you’re right that the rules have changed. I will go through the link you’ve very kindly posted...it’s for NDT but I think they would source T3 too?

They are pharmacies who are used to sourcing all sorts. :)

Thank you Louise. I spoke to one of them & you're absolutely right. The price is very different to sourcing from Germany but not as extortionate as what the NHS has to pay. They confirmed that they deal with wholesalers so the German ban does not affect them. Thank you again.

Oh no !! It worked Thursday as I ordered. Wonder if I’ll get my pills. Prescription hasn’t arrived yet. 😢

I really hope you get them. I’m sure they will honour any orders already taken. Good luck.

Thanks for flagging this up. I've been orderng Thybon Henning from them with no problems for about a year, but they seem to have taken it from their website with no warning.

I just ordered, apparently successfully, from mycare.de.

I haven't received this yet, but hopefully no need to panic :-)

There is a thread on the PA forum with information about this which might help

I've just had a helpful email in English from mycare.de to say I can send my private prescription for liothyronine to them. The cost for 100 tablets s the same as versandapo. I've emailed Shop Apotheke too. There seem to be a few reputable looking websites that sell Thybon Henning. Good luck with your endo.
