PREGNENLONE, DHEA AND CORTEX

I am on NDT and adrenal cortex...for some long time. I am not really getting better and I feel something else is wrong....I suspect Pregnenlone and DHEA ..

Also...my insomnia is terrible and very hard on the system.

Am thinking of taking both at ten mg at night and in morning respectively, but can I take them with the cortex ? Does anyone know ? Or should I drop the dose of the cortex ? I need the cortex to keep my temps stable...

I’d be grateful for anyone who had experience of just these things....

I have no specitic advice only tosay that getting well can be a matter of much trial and error and can take a long time to get right. I am thankfully much better ut it has taken quite a while to get right.

One thing I have learn from experiance is that it helps to only try one new things at a time and I would leave several weeks before adding another.

A cortisol saliva test willshow when you are low in DHEA and it is worth testing as oftenthe symtoms of too much are the same as too little with all hormones.

Pregnalenalone is supposed to be the mother of all hormones and I dont think normally taken with cortisol as it is the hormone cortisol is made from. It might be worth a look on Dr Myhills website to see if any information on its use as it is a hormone I belive she has used a lot.

If you do trysomething new by way of hormones only try a small dose. pregnalenalone does notagree with me and Iam gladwhen I first tried it I only had a tiny nibble of a tablet 25ug I think I remmber. Glad I never swallowed the whole thing.

Thanks so much...yes..one thing at a time...have had two nights of them mg preg....no problems..but I haven’t altered my cortex ..yet.
