Changes with Thiroyd meds

I've been on Thiroyd for nearly 3 years now. Have always purchased it from the same source and have had no issues with it until now. The most recent batch I've now been on for about 3 months and I feel like I'm going down hill.... I'm on same dose as before but I did think these tasted a bit different.

I'm wondering if anyone else had any issues with Thiroyd that they've purchased recently?

I've got an appointment for blood test but it's a few weeks away, so I'll keep on it till then and see what the result is.

Hi Ib003

Do you have a batch number and expiry date for your Thiroyd tabs? Then we could all check to see if we have the same batch and if we have any issues.

Good idea. I'll do that as soon as I get home.

I will PM you both to see if we've used the same supplier.

Hello yes. A couple of months ago I changed from Thyroid S to Thiroyd as it’s supposed to have less fillers. I went downhill so had a blood test after 6 weeks and my T3 has gone from top of the range to now just under range. I’ve increased by half a grain but still don’t feel right. So I too was wondering if I have been sent fake tablets. They are from my usual supplier who I’ve had no previous problems with.

Mine were from my usual supplier too and I haven't had problems before. I will PM you later with more details.

Before I took thyroid S I watched posts and comments forcwell over a year and noticed people who liked Thyroid S couldn't get on with Thiroyd and vice versa. I started in Thyroid S but was surprised how numberpus the fillers were so later changed to Thiroyd and only lasted just over two days-gave me dreadful headaches and had to stop! So bear that in mind.

I've been ok on it for over 2 years. I do spilt my dose into am/pm and always do it sublingually and have never had problems until now. Funnily enough I didn't get on with Thyroid S at all.
