Have you tested? Zinc should be about half way through range. If testing zinc it's a good idea to test copper too.
Zinc supplementation won't be necessary for every hypo sufferer, there are so many differnent physiological factors that can be causal, without testing/knowing it's just guess work. Unless you know your out of range, it's probably best to get tested. Vitamins and minerals are necessary, but excess of many can bring it's own problems.
