T3 questions

Please could someone pm me to buy t3. I have sourced some from a Greek friend as advised by the consultant I am working with. He advised me to do this. I am t3 only and have 0.4 t4 and 4.8 t3 with 0.02 tsh. I am keen to carry on t3 but am running out. Due to difficulties sourcing I am thinking of going back to 50 t4 and 25 t3. I had been on 125 t4 originally. I followed Paul Robinson to clear Rt3 which I believe I have done. Am currently on t3 only 37.5 for the readings I have just mentioned. My consultant can't see me again until July, although we spoke on phone. He is NHS so guess I am lucky to get some wisdom for free!! Any advice at all relating to this post would be appreciated. Thank you. Jacqui

JacqS71, If your consultant endorses your need for T3, why isn't he prescribing it for you?

He says he cannot on NHS. To be honest I don't have the appetite for a huge fight. I was lucky to get a referral from my GP. I would have paid a lot to see the same consultant privately. I just want to use what I know and can find out to move forward and feel well. T3 has been life changing so keen to carry on sourcing.

I understand that you're not up to having a fight for your T3. There is a campaign ongoing about this though, so maybe you could at least consider helping that by writing to your MP, using the provided campaign template. More info here on the main TUK website thyroiduk.org/tuk/T3-Campai...

You do need to be aware that UniPharma T3 is not as easy to obtain as it once was. So if you're wanting to source your own T3 then you may need to look at changing to a different brand.

Yes agreed. I would prefer to at least do something thank you. I would be happy to change brand. Do you have any advice please? Thank you.
