Have you tested B12? Tinnitus can be a neurological symptom of low level or deficiency.

Can see from your previous posts you have Hashimoto's and DIO2 gene

Last results showed low T3

Are you now prescribed T3? What are your most recent thyroid results

Often tinnitus is B12 related. Do you supplement B12 or a good B complex

Have you tried strictly gluten free diet for Hashimoto's?

Hi popsta, I think there are many theories about this terrible plague. I've been looking at the vagus nerve which is cranial nerve. We listened to a series called The Broken Brain and believe it or not the brain is very involved when you have an inflammatory condition. Almost all chronic conditions are inflammatory. I think this is why it is so difficult to calm the tinnitus down. Stimulating the vagus nerve helps. healthunlocked.com/thyroidu....

I have tinnitus most of the time since having RAI 5 years ago, but it's particularly bad when I'm taking T4 only. I also have the faulty DIO2 gene. It is definitely not low B12 with me. I have been having 3 monthly B12 injections for about 20 years and when t was tested by Medichecks last year it was very high. I imagine that it has been at that level, long before I had a problem with my thyroid and developed tinnitus.

I have had it for many years since onset of other hypo symptoms. Haven't got rif of it but I think I'm undermedicated. Try to get proper thyroid levels and see if that helps. Good luck
