Visited otorinolarilogos (ear nose and throat specialist) to check my ears and ask about my tinnitus. Ears were clean and uninfected - my hearing levels were a little below average. Anyway he has prescribed Lamberts ginkgo biloba 6000 to take for at least 6 months.
Anyone tried this?
I'm a bit concerned about reading online that it's benefits are unproven and also that you should be aware not to mix it with medications i.e. Paracetamol because if a possibility of hemorrhage ....? Must thin the blood I guess...

Yes, gingko has blood thinning effects, so shouldn't be taken if you use blood thinning meds. It increases blood circulation to the head. Helps some people with tinnitus. I don't use supplements in tablet form because they're hard to assimilate. Lamberts has several undesirable fillers & binders.
I have not but I do have tinnitus so this is interesting to me. There does seem to be conflicting information as to whether or not Gingko biloba extract EGb 761helps but I say, why not try it? I’m sensitive to fillers in supplements so I would lean towards a liquid version.
If you do try this, report back and let us know if it helps.
