Hi I recently made a mess of my dosage. I was on a 100 mcg Levi for 6 weeks my blood results were
Tsh 1.45 0.35-5.00
T4. 13.7. 9.00-22.00
T3 4. 2.90-4.90
My endo put my dosage up to 125mcg.
Without realising I took 75mcg instead of 125mcg for 3 weeks. I didnt realise what I’d done till my new prescription came through of 100 mcg tablet and 25’s. I’d only had 50’s and 25’s if that makes sense. Anyway I was told to do 12 days on a 100 again then onto 125 mcg. Ive been on 125 mcg for nearly three weeks and I feel awful. Any ideas?

I believe that when our dose changes that it takes about six weeks for it to take effect. I think three weeks is too early, atlhough I know you are symptomatic,
I'm sorry I cannot be more helpful as i know what it feels like wondering why we feel worse instead of improving.
No, you didn't mess it up, you just made a mistake. Can happen to us all. I was once given 75 mcg tablets by the pharmacist, instead of 175 mcg, and I took them for a month!!! I became very hypo, of course. But, once I'd noticed the mistake, and got back on my right dose, things went back to normal. You just have to give it time. No permanant damage has been done.
