Do I stop vit D before d test?

My GP has agreed at last minute today to do test for vitamin D, T3 and T4. She has given me an envelope to take to my pre op on Monday. I took my D and K today as normal today, shall I stop now until after pre op? Is that long enough? May have to stop till after op on 3rd April as saw somewhere that it affects something to do with surgery. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

For a Vit D test there is no need to stop taking D3 (or K2), just take it after the blood draw on the day. The result will show if you are taking the right amount of D3 to keep your level within the recommended range (100-150nmol according to the Vit D Council) and if necessary you can adjust your dose accordingly.
