Thyroid scan

I had a nodule removed 30yrs ago and then developed a mutinodular goitre. I had a scan about three years ago and there were some quite big one's. Since then I've been taking ndt and then t3. At the moment I am getting quite a lot of pulling around my thyroid. Which is annoying. Would it be possible for me to get a scan done privately? I don't want to go to my gp as I'm self medicating and get nagged about it when I go.

You could try contacting one of our private labs. They may be able to make arrangements for you or advise.

I asked for a particular test and Blue Horizon directed me to a local hospital for blood draw.
