Ari3,

Serum tissue tranglutaminase is a blood test to determine gluten intolerance. Your result is very low so you don't have gluten intolerance (Coeliac Disease).

But if I have Hashimoto I have to go gluten free anyway as I heard it helps to lower the attack am I right?

Ari3,

A lot of members have found a 100% gluten-free diet helpful in reducing Hashi flares, symptoms and antibodies.

Ari3,

It's a diabetes blood test. Your result is low and rules out diabetes.

Ari3,

Your HbA1c is only 36.6 so you're not diabetic.

It's a test for coeliac disease. You are in the normal range so don't appear to have it.

But regardless of negative testing for coeliac, an immense number of thyroid patients find gluten free diet helps significantly.

Gluten intolerance can be as bad as coeliac, but doesn't show in a coeliac test at all
