Recent test results and cracking fingers

I’m on 3 grains of Nature Throid.

My latest results are:-

TSH 0.232(0.27-4.2)

FT4 6 (12-22)

FT3 8.70 (3.1-6.8)

My Dr is happy with these results and says he’s not overly concerned about the over range FT3 given that the TSH is nearly in the range. Has advised to carry on with this doseage and check again in a couple of months.

My only symptoms are that the tips of my fingers appear dehydrated - lines running down them and sometimes the hardening skin on the sides of my fingers cracks - and these cracks are deep. I am so concerned about this that I’ve done a test for diabetes type 1 and 2 for which I am currently awaiting the outcome.

Has anybody else experienced this on their hands?

How long did you leave between last dose and blood draw?

A full 12hrs. I split my dose (3 grains) so I took 1.5 grains at 10pm for a draw at 10am.

No diabetes. Phew!

Started treating my fingers as though I have a fungal infection with apple cider vinegar. Worth a try!
