Am I converting ok?

I should know but I’m not sure... my doctor said everything was normal but I still feel symptomatic.

I have a whole list of results but not sure what to post so I’ll just start with the main ones....

Serum Free T4 15.9

Serum TSH 1.3 (0.35 - 5.0)

She said she’d tested T3 but I can’t see it. Is it called something else? I would take a picture of the results but it has my drs name on it.

Can anyone tell me what to look for to find T3?

No way of knowing if you are converting well enough unless you have TSH, FT4 plus FT3 tested at the same time.

FT3 might possibly be called Free Triiodothyronine.

You need to add range for FT4.

If Doctor's name is just at top or bottom of results sheet, fold over or cover it up and take a picture so it doesn't show.

Thanks Seaside Susie - I’ve just thought of an idea I can cross out his name which is at the end of every line for some reason. Off to bed now so I’ll post again tomorrow. I’ve got be up for work at 7.30 so I’d better get to sleep !

You should start a new thread (post) with this one, then lots of people will answer.

Hi Steni, I know it's a faff but it might be best if you type out what's on your print out in to your post. It's really hard to comment on what you've put so far. It needs the ranges too.

Or you could cross through any personal details with a black marker pen, and then photograph it?

On my results which I've just posted, the T3 bit is just listed as 'Free T3'.

Great minds think alike - I’m going to cross out his name. Thank you

Reverse t3 is a sure way to tell whether or not you are converting but you can only get this done in a private blood test
