Liz1946,
TSH is low-normal and thyroid peroxidase antibodies weak positive indicates autoimmune thyroiditis (Hashimoto's) which can progress to cause hypothyroidism. There is no cure for Hashimoto's which causes 90% of hypothyroidism. Levothyroxine treatment is for the low thyroid levels it eventually causes. Many people have found that 100% gluten-free diet is helpful in reducing Hashi flares, symptoms and eventually antibodies and may delay or even stop progression to hypothyroidism. It may also help to support your thyroid if you supplement 100-200mcg selenium.

Ferritin is good.
Folate is low in range. Eating more leafy green veg wiil raise folate or you can supplement some folic acid or methylfolate.

Im so grateful for your reply Clutter, if a bit confused, I’ve been hypothyroid for the past 10 years + and been on thyroxine, I take 100micrograms my doctor has told me I’m normal and to continue as I am. I’m so fed up of feeling the way I do, my face and eyes itch so much, I’ve changed to a non bio wash powder but feel as if I’ve been in the sun and wind. I can hardly walk with osteoarthritis and a bakers cyst, at the moment feel ready for the knackers yard!!!
